The display will flash between "fax in memory" and another message such as "check paper", "film empty", etc. Once that message is resolved, any fax in memory will print out automatically or simply when you press start. If the message shows "fax memory full", try printing a page (make a copy, journal report, etc.) After pressing "menu", the page should print. If it does not print, then the fax is most likely corrupted and a power reset is needed to clear that information. Check the journal report for the sender and have the fax re-sent.
